The Ford 3-Year Warranty, What’s Covered?

What is included in the Ford Warranty? If you plan to keep your vehicle Ford vehicles for years, you will need to know what is included in the Ford Factory warranty. All of the new models come with a 3-year/36,000-mile Ford factory warranty and a 5-year/60,000 powertrain warranty.

• PowertrainCARE: With this plan, you’ll experience 29 Ford coverages with our engines, transmissions, RWD, and FWD. There are several components that won’t be included, but a good majority of components are covered. For example, the radiator is not covered with the RWD and the FWD.
• BaseCARE: The BaseCARE Service Plan allows for 84 covered components which include steering, beaking, front suspension, electrical components, A/C, and heating. Features such as the anti-lock brake module will not be covered.
• ExtraCARE: With the ExtraCARE service plan, you will be covered for a staggering 113 components of your Ford, including everything in the baseCARE package alongside coverage for your convenience features. This package does not include more advanced technology features such as Ford SYNC® or rain-sensing wipers.
• PremiumCARE: The PremiumCARE plan covers over 1,000 components of your Ford, meaning that the rest of the Ford features and amenities are covered on Indianapolis roads, allowing for peace of mind never before experienced.
