Ford Remote Access Features

Your Ford Remote Access system includes a wealth of features designed to make your daily driving experience better than ever. From learning how to use Ford Remote Start to activating the Memory feature, get a closer look at the features found on many of the new Ford vehicles at Greg Hubler Ford:

  • Starting Your Ford Vehicle: Press the lock button on your key fob and press the remote start button twice. Your headlights will flash twice if it worked and if it didn’t work, the horn will sound instead.
  • Turning the Vehicle Off: Press the remote start button one time. When the headlights turn off, your vehicle is off.
  • Using the Memory Feature (If Equipped): Activate remote start and your car will automatically go to work adjusting your seat settings, mirrors, and even steering column positions automatically.

If your Ford Remote Access features are not working, don’t hesitate to reach out to our service center. It could be something as simple as your hood being open or your battery being low, or it could be something that requires attention – like your “Check Engine” light being triggered.

Ford Remote Access vs. FordPass

For new Ford models equipped with Ford SYNC® Connect, you can use FordPass instead to access remote features. Just download the app onto your compatible smartphone through the App Store or Google Play. Then you’ll have a remote access app with zero yearly subscription fees that’s capable of features like:

  • Remote locking and unlocking
  • Remote starting and stopping
  • Scheduled starts
  • Gas and fluid level checks
